Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- MBBS degree from a university recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI) / National Medical Commission (NMC).
- Must be registered under the Assam Medical Council (AMC).
- Candidates with equivalent medical qualifications from abroad must have cleared the FMGE/NBE screening test and hold valid AMC registration.
Age Limit (as on 1 January 2026)
- Minimum age: 21 years
- Maximum age: 38 years
- As per Govt. Notification No. AAP.115/72/Pt.I/194 dated 10/03/2008. Upper age relaxation applicable for reserved category candidates as per extant Government of Assam rules.
Citizenship
Candidates must possess Indian citizenship as defined under Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India.

Selected candidates will be placed in Pay Band-4 with the following remuneration:
