Other Eligibility Criteria
1. Age Limit
Candidates must not be less than 21 years and not more than 38 years of age as on 1 January 2026. Age will be calculated strictly based on the birth certificate issued by the Registrar of Birth and Death, or the Matriculation/HSLC Admit Card or Pass Certificate issued by a recognized Central/State Board/Council. No other document will be accepted as age proof.
2. Residency
Candidates must be permanent residents of Assam and must produce a Voter ID or Aadhaar card as proof of residency.
3. Citizenship
Candidates must be citizens of India as defined under Articles 5 to 9 of the Constitution of India.
