🎓 Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Candidates must hold a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognised University/Institution, including Integrated Dual Degree (IDD). Candidates with professional qualifications such as Chartered Accountant (CA), Cost Accountant, Engineering, or Medical degrees are also eligible to apply.

Work Experience

A minimum of 1 year of post-qualification experience as an Officer in a Scheduled Commercial Bank is mandatory. Experience gained in NBFCs, cooperative banks, payment banks, small finance banks, or fintech companies is not considered valid for this requirement.

Local Language Requirement

Proficiency in the local language of the state applied for is compulsory. For Assam, this means candidates should be able to read, write and speak Assamese (or the relevant local language specified for the state). For Arunachal Pradesh and Nagaland only, English is accepted, but only if the candidate studied and passed English as a subject from a school located in that state.

Selected candidates will be placed in JMG/Scale-I with the pay scale:

An additional advance increment is granted for candidates with 1 year or more of prior officer-level experience in a Scheduled Commercial Bank, over and above regular allowances and perks applicable to bank officers.

  1. Online Test — objective type, 1 mark per correct answer, 0.25 negative marking for each wrong answer
  2. Language Proficiency Test (LPT) — for the local language of the state applied for
  3. Psychometric Test / Personal Interview
  4. Group Discussion / Personal Interview (final stage)
