- 2. Who can apply for the Ladakh Lecturer posts?
Ans: The Ladakh Lecturer positions are exclusively for domiciles of Union Territory of Ladakh only. You must have a valid domicile certificate issued by the competent authority in UT of Ladakh administration. Additionally, all 29 lecturer posts are reserved for Scheduled Tribes (ST) candidates only as per the Ladakh reservation rules.
- 3. What is the selection process - is there a written exam?
Ans:
The selection is interview-based only. However, if applications are large in number, UPSC may conduct shortlisting based on:
- Higher qualifications than minimum required
- More experience than prescribed
- Desirable qualifications
- Or may conduct a Recruitment Test (with 75:25 weightage for test:interview)
Minimum interview marks required:
- UR/EWS: 50 marks out of 100
- OBC: 45 marks out of 100
- SC/ST/PwBD: 40 marks out of 100
- 4. What experience is required for CBI Public Prosecutor posts?
Ans: For Public Prosecutor (CBI) posts, you need 7 years of practice at the Bar in conducting criminal cases. This experience requirement may be relaxed for SC/ST candidates if sufficient candidates are not available. For Assistant Public Prosecutor posts, no prior experience is required - only a law degree is needed.
