How to Apply:
Step 1: Create Your ABC ID (Academic Bank of Credits)
As per the UGC-DEB guidelines, it is mandatory to have an Academic Bank of Credits (ABC ID) to accumulate and transfer your academic credits.
You can create your ABC ID directly through Digilocker when you click the “Click to Start” button on the KKHSOU admission portal.
To create your ABC ID, you must have any one of the following:
Aadhaar Card
PAN Card
Driving License
Already have an ABC ID? You can proceed to the next step.
Step 2: Generate Your UGC DEB ID
Once your ABC ID is created, you’ll need to register for a UGC DEB ID using the same admission portal.
The UGC DEB ID is a permanent and unique number that is used for all Open and Distance Learning (ODL) and Online courses across India.
Enter your UGC DEB ID in the required field and click “Get Your Details.”
Verify your information. If the details are correct, proceed by clicking “Click to Register” to choose your desired programme.
If you already have a UGC DEB ID, you can use it for your current admission as well.
Step 3: Register and Login to the Admission Portal
Once you register, your Username and Password will be sent to your registered mobile number and email address.
Use these credentials to log in to the admission portal.
If you forget your login credentials, use the “Forgot Password” option to recover them.
Step 4: Complete the Application Form
After logging in:
Enter your personal information
Choose your desired programme and enter relevant details
Upload required documents (photo, signature, academic certificates, etc.)
Preview the entire form to ensure accuracy
Make the payment online using the available payment options
Step 5: Download the Fee Receipt
After successful payment, make sure to download and save your receipt for future reference.
