Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Matriculation (10th Pass) from a recognized board
- Valid LMV driving license
- Knowledge of motor mechanism (repairing minor defects)
- Minimum 1 year driving experience after license
- Domicile certificate of applied state
Age Limit (as on 28 Sept 2025)
- General: 18–27 years
- OBC: +3 years relaxation
- SC/ST: +5 years relaxation
- Ex-Servicemen & Women (widows/divorced): As per rules

Salary & Benefits
- Pay Level-3: Rs. 21,700 – Rs. 69,100
- +20% Special Security Allowance
- Cash compensation for holiday duty (up to 30 days)

Exam Pattern
Tier-I: Online Written Exam
- 100 MCQs, 100 Marks, 1 Hour
- Negative marking: –0.25 per wrong answer
- Subjects: GA (20), Driving Rules (20), Quant (20), Reasoning (20), English (20)
- Cut-offs: UR/EWS: 30 | OBC: 28 | SC/ST: 25
Tier-II: Motor Mechanism & Driving Test
- Practical driving + vehicle maintenance
- Total Marks: 50 | Qualifying Marks: 20 (40%)
