The candidate must be an Indian Citizen as defined under Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India, and must be a permanent resident of Assam. As proof of domicile, candidates must upload either a valid Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC) issued in Assam or a valid Employment Exchange Registration Certificate.
Candidates must possess a Degree in Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science (B.V.Sc. & A.H.) from a recognized University or Institution. Semester/year-wise mark sheets along with the final degree/pass certificate must be uploaded with the application.

Age will be calculated based only on the Class X/Class XII Admit Card, Mark Sheet, or Certificate showing the Date of Birth. Ex-Servicemen candidates must upload their Ex-Servicemen Identity Card issued by the Zila Sainik Welfare Office and Discharge Book while applying against the reserved post.

Fee must be paid online through Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, IMPS, Cash Card, or Mobile Wallet. The application fee, once paid, is non-refundable under any circumstances.
Selected candidates will be appointed on a pay scale of ₹30,000 – ₹1,10,000 with Grade Pay of ₹12,700 under Pay Band-4, along with other allowances admissible as per Government of Assam rules.
