Monthly Emoluments	₹56,000 + HRA; 5% increment for every 2 years of experience in the same project
Tenure	15 months (extendable up to 30 months subject to fund availability), or co-terminus with the project, whichever is earlier

Note: Age, educational qualification, and experience will all be reckoned as on the date of the Walk-in-Interview (14 August 2026), not any earlier cut-off date.

If a large number of candidates report, they will be shortlisted for the interview as per criteria fixed by the Selection Committee — the final decision to allow a candidate to appear rests with the Director, CSIR-CRRI.

Important Terms & Conditions

All posts are purely temporary and project-based; engagement is co-terminus with the project or the stated tenure, whichever is earlier
The total period of engagement of any project personnel — under one project or a combination of different projects, in the same or different CSIR laboratories — cannot exceed 6 years cumulatively
Selected candidates cannot discontinue their engagement without prior approval of the Director, CSIR-CRRI; early exit requires one month’s prior notice or deposit of one month’s stipend in lieu of notice
Candidates are encouraged to converse in Hindi during the Walk-in-Interview
