Official Context

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC), under Government of India, will conduct an Open Competitive Computer Based Examination for recruitment to:

  • Stenographer Grade ‘C’ (Group B, Non-Gazetted)
  • Stenographer Grade ‘D’ (Group C)

Recruitment is for various Ministries, Departments, Attached/Subordinate Offices, and Statutory Bodies across India.

Educational Qualification

  • Must pass 12th or equivalent
  • Cut-off Date: 01 August 2026
  • Open/Distance degrees valid if UGC approved
